Question N51 Catless Headers/Custom Tune Passing Emissions

So my OEM catted headers finally kicked the bucket. Keep getting catalytic conversion codes for bank 1 and 2. Have replaced and serviced a decent amount of adjacent components that I thought could fix it, ran through two bottles of CataClean and the conversion codes continually return. Because of the county I live in, in Texas - it will not pass emissions state inspection due to this.

I've always wanted to go with Active Autowerke's catless headers and their tune, so figured now is a better time than any, right? I just got off the phone with AA before I ordered to make sure that I can still pass an OBD readiness emissions test. They said currently NO, due to EPA cracking down on them.

Does anyone know if it is possible to get a dyno tune with catless headers and maybe even the AA tune to the point where the ECU won't throw any emissions codes and show all monitors as ready? I really don't know alot about tuning or emissions related issues so I'm not sure if it is at all possible. Data points I've seen on here and elsewhere are all over the place and not up to date. If I can get catless headers and not have any codes and pass Texas State emissions that would be freakin awesome! Thanks guys

My neighbors 535XI has a cat fault code 29F4 and I was thinking about trying a spacer/non fouler. Anybody had any luck with that. Another way might be a DP fix harness.

I’ve used the dP fix on my 335 several times worked fine for me but I never had it on for an extremely long time.
