Talking a4, s4, rs4

Unless the person is really into cars, can the average people on the road actually really tell the difference between the a4, s4, and rs4 in terms of styling?

RS4 is double the price of an A4 and to me both cars look very much alike until you really look into the styling cues that the rs4 is more aggressive looking and have an rs4 badge. Most girls i know don't know even what an s4 or rs4 is but they all know what's an M3.

Not to mention, why doesn't the rs4 have quad exhausts?

That is normal because many people don't know the difference between a 325, 330 and an M3. Many people even thought I was driving a new 5 series

in my country.
there are some A4's owner make their car has a S4, even RS4-look
sometimes it really hard to tell which one is real RS4 and which one is RS4-look.

the a4 has 2 normal ex tips while the s4 has quad and then the rs4 has 2 large tips and it has chrome trim around the windows kind of like the difference between the 28 and 35

In TW? How many S4 and RS4s did you see there?

I'd soo much rather the M3 looked like the regular 3-series, with just a sticker and possibly different trim. I like the idea of the understated car that will blow everything else away (e.g. the old e36? M3, and my old Saab 9-3 Viggen)

So you're more into the image than the substance. To me, the RS4 is fantastic, because of its stealthness. You're the poster child for the poseur principle...cause apparently you only like girls that are superficial.

its hard to tell the difference between an s4 and an A4 because audi offers an sline package where the only difference between an s4 and an a4 becomes the engine

s4 and rs4 are slightly more aggresive than the A4... i liked the A4... but its just not aggresive enough

The Q car thing is exactly what appeals to me about Audi. I find the quad exhausts and louvered bonnets of the M cars rather distasteful

I agree. Differences in the A4 and RS, S line-up should be a little bit more diffrent. My 17 yrold sister drives an A4 2.0T that from a distance looks like an S or RS model. Is it bad? NO. But I think the models should be distinguished a bit more.

The major difference in this one is that she also has "Titanium Package which gives the Shadowline trim and Blacked out grill. Along with the gun metal wheels.

i dont know about the average people, but i could easily distinguish between the A4 and RS4 (we dont have the new S4 here)

only one of my cuzn isnt that much into cars, but when he saw the A4 he said: "damn that car looks powerfull, what is it??"

bottom line, i prefer the M3, im sport-oriented
