The pipes look so good! I can't wait to put a few on some local cars.

We also had a chance to put the final performance upgrade on the car, the aFe Dual Cone Cold Air Intake
I must say, we were extremely impressed with this kit. Every little detail was included and well thought out making installation a breeze. The end result was fantastic, the car has a nice deep sound under WOT (although the AA BOV always steals the show ) and improves throttle response as well. Definitely a worthwhile upgrade, the car is much peppier now that it can breath properly. |

Guys
Tonight or tomorrow I am going to update the car's software to a more aggressive program from AA's website: http://activeautowerke.com/download-software.aspx The beauty of the AA software is that you can do it yourself with their easy to use tool I will try my very best to get it re-dyno'd on the same dyno SATURDAY so we have something to show for all the money spent under the hood of this car Stay tuned (pun heavily intended) JL |

So here is the 10 second update guys:
I have been playing with different software programs and discovered that R3DP doesn't run very nicely on the 2008's above 6500RPM. We went to go get the car Dyno'd (on the same dyno that gave our 335 a number of 238 stock...) and the Dyno numbers were unbelievable... 268rwhp, but 564 ft-lbs of torque? Something isn't right here... We've been working with AA, and they let us know that the Mustang Dyno's are highly customizable in terms of the load they place on the car, and that Mustang Dyno's are more suited for dyno tuning, NOT for created "benchmark" numbers by which to rate power gains. All in all, we will need to go find a DynoJet dyno this weekend, as they are all the same calibration from the factory, and the numbers from a DynoJet will be transferable and comparable to other cars and products on the market. We hope to get that done this week or next week. As for the gains the car is making - it's fast. Very fast. Barry @ Active is going to write a program similar to R3DP that will function better on the 08 models, and then we'll dyno again on the DynoJet. He says that the "30" RWHP and 200something RWTQ are not accurate numbers (seems logical, right?) and that the car is most likely making between 360 and 380 at the crank right now Thanks for reading!
