i have seen the wireless procede solution but has anyone perfected it? pics of setup? how is it any car problems with signal interference, etc?

One adapter stays in the ECU box, the second one is connected to the laptop when you use it and has not to be in the car permanently.

OO. that is very new. you have to have a the adapter connected to a laptop at all times? i thought it would be a wireless switch which i can keep in the ash tray or something. would a switch like this be possible?

The wireless solution replaces the serial cable. It has no switch functionality. What do you like to switch ? There is no switch available for the PROcede as of today, even not a wired. Of course, wireless switches are available, I bought one for later use

is there a switch normally on the xede itself to switch maps?

i thought that the wireless solution would have like a small trigger switch that is wirelessly connected to the signal attatched on the xede. which therefore you can keep in ash tray or something. didn't know you needed a laptop to switch maps...

just read your report and you know have to install an led light of some sort to tell which map your running. hows that going for you?

I am pretty sure that there is a pin that you can attach a switch to ground to allow a switch to stock mapping on the current procede. Its possible, its just not included in the current harness. AFAIK

hows your setup doing? how does the laptop show what map your running?
