Seconding this. Curious to know if the next generation Cooper SE will make its way to America or not.

Added MINI U25 and F6x to the main list. Will add J0x later, but US readers shouldn't wait for that - those cars are not for our shores.

Will the i4 (G26) get an LCI next spring? I tried to look back and I only saw information on the 4 series, my apologies if I missed anything for the i4.

Heads up for MINI fans: don't look for updates here, I now have an arrangement with MotoringFile where it properly belongs.

US has 382hp and 369 lb-ft of torque for the current O1 variant.

The M2 variant is 375hp and 384 lb-ft of torque (and 398 lb-ft with electrical assistance - ‘boost’)

Means a loss of 7hp, but a gain of 15 lb-ft (29 lb-ft with ‘boost’) of torque.

I'm getting conflicting information from my dealer on if builds in June are going to be 2024 or 2023 for i7. This post looks like it will be the end of 2023? (I've also noticed nearly every dealer I talk to has their allocation in June, which is... odd... unless they only produce the i7 a few months of the year?)

Any ideas of what would change with the 2024 model and would it be worth waiting?

I just recently bought myself a BMW Alpina, and I thought it was very cool, apparently soon even the Alpina will not be relevant

Not sure what kind of elaboration you need. M4 Competition M xDrive gets tuned for more power. That's it.

Statement below reads like it may be an increase across the range. I appreciate you clarifying that.

Two part question - are these hardware or software changes and consequently is the S58 (S58B30T0) getting a new numerical designation?

Nope. "G8x LCI xDrive" denotes specific models.

Maybe I'm missing something but the G80, G81, G82, and G83 fall under that, no?

Is the G80 xDrive also affected from the power bump?

Thanks

That would be logical to expect but since G80/G81 LCI will trail G82/G83 LCI by four months, I will need the same amount of time before I can give a precise answer.
