Omega Tera Aqua

Saw this watch, and I must say, it's very nice. A lot of nice options. Dial colors, and bands. They come in 38.5mm, and 41mm. I prefer the 38.5, even on my 7.5 inch wrist. I'm not a fan of watches bigger than 40mm. They retail for about $5,400. You could probably get 20%-30% off the retail price.

Beautiful. I heard resale value on Omega is not that good. However, I buy what I like, and don't plan on selling.

In the price range of these omega aquas and Rolex I’d probably go after an IWC pilot

There is a new ceramic black pilot I think in the 5-6k price range. The Rolex 39mm op I see women wearing - not a big deal.

The IWC looks sharp. However, I'm not a fan of all blackout watches. I like the Rolex Explorer I 3,6,9 black dial, 39mm. And also the white dial OP. The Omegas just seem to be more atractive. Not to get off topic, is there a way to edit a thread? My thread title was suppose to be Omega Aqua Terra, not Terra Aqua. Thanks.

What's your take on the Seiko SKX009/007? I went from several thousand $$ to a couple of hundred $$ watches. I'm looking for a nice simple beater, even though I take care of my watches. Baselworld is in March, and curious to see what's new in the watch world. Last year Rolex OP Datejust models came out with different color combinations. They actually went with the 36mm size. The 41mm Datejust I think are discontinued.

I’ve never owned either of those seiko’s so things like bracelet comfort or how the metal holds up or if it has reactions with your skin - I don’t know. But I like the way the watches look.

For a beater watch I like Casio g-shocks in metal with solar battery and atomic timekeeping. I like the apple I watch. Those are my choices for that price range.

For cheep mechanical beaters I like the Swatch Sistem Automatics.

As far as omega but certainly not a beater I really only like the moon watch.

For Rolex I only like the deep sea.

OP: You're in NY, so there are a ton of watch shops for you to check out and find this one. Buy it used if you can. You'll save a ton of $. I've already found a slightly used one for $3100.

You can also check on here:
www.watchrecon.com
Make sure you are buying the buyer before you buy the watch. VERY important to do your research with used watches.
