I love it. The one thing I'd change is I'd make the wheels look a little less...soft.

Sweet car, awesome interior. Too bad the M3 will roast on the 0-60 and top speed.

Can you say CHIP... Its a TT-V10!!! with a tune, DP's, intercooler, intake, and exhaust you will see that car pushing 700hp... At least Audi is getting back into F/I...

Umm...0-62mph in 4.5s...top speed is judged by horsepower (and aero too)...you sure?

I would murder my first born with my bare hands for an RS6 Avant. So if anyone knows of any upcomming murder-your-first-born-for-an-RS6-avant promotions, shoot me a PM. Im ok with murdering other peoples kids as well, so I mean, if thats an option...

The pictures don't do the alloys justice, they are f'ing beautiful in real life, probably the nicest looking alloys available on a factory car.

Is it quicker than an M3? Are you serious, this thing is quicker than an M5 for heaven sake, the M3 would be wee buns. The shove it gives you in kick down is one of the most memorable experiences I have ever had in a production car, it's the kind of thing that should come with a warning, 'PERSONS WITH BACK PROBLEMS OR PREGNANT WOMEN DO NOT ENTER'.

There is few cars more capable of covering ground as quickly as the RS6, and I am serious about that one. If the road in unfamiliar I would defy anyone to be quicker in anything else. It's ashame the thing was £25K too much, too big, too heavy and thristy for me to even consider it, great car all the same and definitely one of the most impressive I have set my butt in this year.

P.S.
This is not my Audi head talking, it's a fact.

4.5 years too late....kinda like the new CTS-V.

BMW set the target with the M5 and now they are just catching up.

Normally, I would say, the F10 M5 will whip it but I am a little disillusioned with BMW ///M right now. If they mess up the F10 M5 / F12 M6, the "M" brand will be in the toilet.

T Bone,

This topic has been talked out so much already. Most people can agree that the M5 and RS6 do the job in different ways. However, to say that the RS6 is just "catching up" isnt really true. The RS6 cant be faulted for much apart from it's weight.

I think the operative word regarding BMW's M is "if". We dont know what BMW will do, and we should have trust in them even if they did use forced induction. Look at the 3.0TT in the 335i. I'm pretty confident BMW will keep its high standards.

+1

I was just joking around about the M3 whipping the RS6. The quoted figures were slower than the M3, that's alll I was talking about. I am a fan of how Audi styles their RS models, understated of their power but elegant.

Cars can never be view in isolation, they must be viewed on a relative basis. The RS6 is in exactly the same segment as the M5 and the M5 is a generation ahead.

I have taken my meds again tonight and will hope BMW ///M does the right thing....
