Hangover cures?

I might have enjoyed one or two many bottles of wine last night and now I am feeling a little rough

Do any of you lovely people have any cures ?

My normal routine is

1. Sleep - can't do that as I am in the office
2. Drop the kids off (have a poo) - Done that
3. Hangover sex - Can't do that as I am away from home
4. Coffee - On my 4th cup

Excedrin and a Rockstar Recovery, get up and do stuff. Laying around just prolongs the hangover for me.

Guaranteed. Pretty much my go to anytime I drink excessively on the weekday and have to go into the office. Hangover is cured by the time I sit down at my desk and has never failed.

If I'm not able to eat breakfast throw these in to calm the stomach after taking the advil.

I normally go on a run. The first couple minutes are hell but by the end I feel fine.

I know this is not gonna help now but alcohol is a diuretic and its the dehydration that makes its metabolites rear its ugly head. Drink 1 or 2 glasses of water after said "affair", go to bed and hang over is prevented.

My first rule when drinking is to drink a couple glasses of water before bed...its the dehydration that gives you the headache. if that fails (which it rarely does), then drink a big glass of Coke on ice.

If you have a friend who is a doc or nurse, get them to give you IV fluids. You'd be amazed how quickly it goes away.

Spicy food, physical activity, hydrate, NSAID's and a bit of caffeine.

Not necessarily in that order.

A sports drink like Gatorade immediately after everything works nicely, especially since a hangover is your body's response to being dehydrated. I followed this routine, and the one time I did get hung over was the day I didn't do this. Also depends on what you're drinking too; I never got hungover on beer or wine (Thanksgiving party, don't ask), but the one time I did was to show my intense hatred for being single for the millionth time on V-Day and downed an AMF, 2 shots of 151, and God-knows-what after.
