Further Mick said : Ricciardo is completing a tyre test for Pirelli at Silverstone at the wheel of the Red Bull RB19 'today.
It depends how RIC is performing during the tyre test in the RB19 , from there Marko will see how it goes with RIC .
But actually the deed is already done , and De Vries won't make it anymore at Zandvoort ...

Not surprised RBR has jumped on Norris, not letting Hamilton through at Silverstone is a plus for him but it's just a hello from Marko I think.
Poor 'ol Lando is not having much luck with him being robbed again, maybe Marko will give him some advise to lock his valuable possessions in the hotel safe than leave them lying around in his room.

I like Ricciardo, but I have my doubts if he'll perform better than DEV. (mainly because of his poor performance at McLaren)

I think it's maybe too soon to replace DEV, a complete season would have been more of a proper chance. However this is F1, so the drivers are expected to be the best of the best. I'm sure they've looked at every aspect of DEV's performance and kept scores on multiple levels.
Hiring a new driver is an investment, but so is replacing one.

Checo's (hot)! seat is for Lando Norris in 2024 .

And IMHO , RIC will lose it at AT as well .

MAybe, but he must perform very good for that. Considerably better than TSU I think.
However he is experienced and might be more realistic about his role on the team than Checo.
The media is writing about RB wanting Norris, but if you have a championship winning car, and already a top tier driver, ideally you want a Bottas.
Norris is not going to slip into that role, I'm sure of that, but Ricciardo might.
But for now, DEV' main problem was that RB/AT has RIC sitting on the shelf.
I mean, realistically, the difference between DEV and TSU is not as large as say the difference between ALB and SAR, but I don't see them changing out SAR.
Probably because they don't have a RIC sitting on the shelf.

We witnessed how 'very (bad)! RIC performed in the slower Mclaren at the time .

That's why I think RIC won't make it at AT .
AT will be RIC's F1 exit ...

Renault signed him (for what was then) stupid money...$21m. He took the money but it came with an inferior product. The move to McLaren didn't do him any good either, but then questions arose...was it car or talent?
