What watch goes with the 1
Just wondering what type of watch you would buy to go with the 1 or what are you wearing right now.
Here is what I have on order, 135i Titanium Silver Coupe, Coral Red leather, Sport Package and 6MT and a Baume & Mercier Capeland(already wearing). |

omg, and I was worried that I picked up on the fact that my pradas go with the black and red car I got
(the real answer is obviously something that matches the silver and has red accents)

Many years ago, I decided to strip myself of wearing any jewelry of any kind... including a watch.
After seeing these pics, I wonder if I am missing out on something...??

Just received my custom Breitling in April. Absolutely love it.

Not much of a watch guy myself. To be honest having it on my wrist I always felt constrained. Plus I have my cell phone that tells me the time. Though I have been wanting one because it does add a nice touch when going out.
Any recommendations on a nice black watch? |

Where is the JLC love?
this one might be a bit poser-ish due to the fact that it is an Aston version, but i'd still rock it.

Uh, well, like I have a 30 dollar Timex sport watch on my wrist right now.
I don't worry about banging it into stuff, and the high-schoolers I teach wouldn't notice if I had handcuffs on my wrist. However, in light of the watches shown above, perhaps I should re-think my 1 purchase, and just stick with my Focus. |

wow, some very nice watches you guys have...
but i gotta say... those of you who pick movado... that's so 80s! (sorry if i offend anyone) i think an affordable brand would be Tag or Rolex... then you got your Breitling, very nice, very pricey me? i'll be switching off with my Louis Vuitton bags... maybe i'll go shop for a watch... i have my eye on the Tag Carrera with diamonds! |

Just like we are "car people", there are also "watch people". I know people who make 6 figures who drive old Toyotas and Hondas and could care less. Neither should be looked at as a status symbol, it's just what you're into.

Well, you have a point. My tennis-playing partner has a Cayman S, and he has a watch just like mine.
When I was younger, I thought I wanted a Rolex. Raising children took care of that pretty quickly. Though, those are some pretty nice watches in this thread. Gotta love great engineering and design. |

I prefer TAG's and Omega's in particular the Seamaster Professional Chronograph.
