Post your BMW ownership BIO. Pics inside
I have always been fascinated with BMW's but had never owned one until this summer. I will admit there are times of frustration but there are also times where I appreciate it's character and that of other models. I have seen some really nice cars, older BMW models in great shape and high mileage ones running strong. I have heard horror stories and maintenance/repair nightmares and I have also heard of problemless/run forever like new BMW's.
Post up stories and pics of your experience. Here is mine: 2002 BMW 330Ci in Steel Gray Metallic. CFO's company car one owner purchased in August 2012 with 53,888 miles. The car was bone stock -Steptronic -Sport/Premium/Cold weather What have I fixed/had issues with/maintenance? Currently has 64,700 miles -Cooling system overhaul at 58,000 which consisted of: -water pump -t-stat -temp sensor -uppper and lower radiator hoses -expansion tank -Brakes! 58,XXX -Brembo blank rotors -PF Z rated pads -ATE Super blue fluid ISSUES! Xenons are a PITA, they work when they feel like it, I can start the car up and they both work, one, or none... the car reaches op temp and I turn it off and on again and they both work, or one, or none... I love Xenons but this is annoying. WHAT HAVE I DONE? -Style 68 wheels seen in picture? GONE -Bought a set of Style 67 Forged 19' M3 wheels (4 fronts) offset 47 -Painted kidney grilles black which I hate at times and love at times -That is it Post up.
