I confess I have massive social anxiety. At a milestone birthday party of mine I felt the glare of the camera phones.. and wished the ground would have taken me in. Once I cut my cake.. I had to go outside to calm my chest pains. I do absolutely fine in one-to-one interactions and large groups but I hate the limelight.

I'm told I speak well publicly, but I absolutely despise it and will avoid it at almost any cost if I can. I hate the limelight, being the focus, absolutely fine one on one, but in a large group I prefer to sit back, let others do the talking and maybe learn something from one or more of them. I might contribute a few things to keep the conversation going, but I'm much more happy to let someone else take the lead.

I confess I play dumb at conferences as a social experiment. Earlier this year I went to a doctors convention and when asked by someone what I did. I said I was a coach in a school and here with my friend who was a doctor. He pulled the funniest face and near snorted his drink out his nose. Telling me how coaching was not a qualified profession. Then I went up on stage.. they announced me… ex-USAF doctor.. he didn’t know where to put his face.

I must confess that it drives me crazy when you click and check the box to have a website save the password, but when you go back to that site, it's not an automatic log on. I'm not talking about banking or secure 2 part authentication sites. Here, its automatic on my cell phone, but all my other devices desktop and tablet i always need to put my password in each time.
I've been on PC's since the 80's
Does this happen to anyone else here or other sites or forums you frequent?

It would seem that here on the Bimmerpost website, each forum is separate as it pertains to log-on credentials. For example, here in my patrol car I can click on the G8X forums and it stays logged in, but if I go to X-Post, I have to log in (...at least the first time). Every subsequent visit to X-Post does not require me to log on. Maybe that's what you're experiencing?!?!?

I love this! Why does it always matter what I do for a living? Obviously, there are times where networking is good and all that so not saying it isn’t applicable.

It also pisses me off when people think they are superior. We need all types of professions to make the world go round.

Agree, I probably make 10 times what the janitor in our office make but I always thank her when she cleanup my messy cubicle and some day she probably a better contributor to society then me.
