At the risk of boring everyone, one more harvest pic. I got stuck at work late today and drove home as the sun was setting. Hours later I'm still paying the price for sitting there inhaling dust as I shot this image. Can't seem to stop sneezing.

On a side note, a Z4 Roadie is a great place to shoot from when the roof is down.

Nice, keep 'em comin'.

I've found that continue to explore the same subject over and over can lead to a really magic image, with a little luck and persistence.

Looks like a great new car in a great environment; however, you might put a little more effort into your images. This looks like you turned around, liked the looks of your new car and snapped a shot. It's understandable that you really, really like your new car and it looked really, really good to you in Napa, but you need to work a little more if you want others to like your images. Even if you squatted down and excluded the car to the right, it would have been a much stronger image.

No offense meant. You seem to be getting serious, so I thought I'd comment.

BTW, your Flickr link takes us to TL's Photostream, which is really nice, but I was expecting to go to your Photostream.

Hey so thanks for the feedback. I believe I didn't get to explain the story behind the picture..

You are completely correct - I snapped a photo as I turned around to look at my car. You seem to be able to read minds...haha :P

I was walking away from my car since I was in a rush to head back to the winery so I snapped back so I snapped the photo from my iPhone. I wanted to snap another one..but I was way too tipsy to even hold a camera steadily LOL.

Damn, I almost said that you took it with your iPhone. It IS idiomatic of what the iPhone has done to us.

I think we've all taken that BMW picture, with the endorphins following full speed in our when we're "in love" again. Remember, when you take pix of the GF or wife, you can take some ugly pix when you're not thinking straight, so do her justice by calming down and putting some effort into the shots.

BTW, I will upgrade to the iPhone 4G-S. I plan to try taking some "serious" pix with it. It won't replace my 7D and 500mm lens, but having a high quality camera in my pocket will allow me to shoot more sunsets and the surprise events that come into my ordinary days. I'll take an oath to try to make every shot a good one and delete any crap that creeps in.

I've seen some great shots taken with the last generation iPhone and this new one should be a substantial step forward. My old iPhone is first generation, so it's high time for me to move up.

Need to rotate CC about 1-degree. Still, great shot.
