New present from Wife

So basically I have 2 "vices" in life, watches and cars. I have a lot of watches, not as many cars...but my wife surprised me on Valentines day with this. She was so proud to have picked it out herself, and paid for it with her own money.

I was shocked as she isn't even in to watches. Plus we had agreed to go simple this year as we have a daughter getting married, and we are buying a new house as we will be "Empty Nesters"

I'm thinking a Tag Heuer Fomula 1 with the 41mm Bezel. I have some Tags, but not this style. I honestly haven't had time to look at it really good aside from checking the crown and COA to make sure she wasn't "taken"...and adjusting the date.

Damn you're a watch junky too? Same here have gotten down to just over 20 pieces now. Still trying to stop myself from more.

So what kind of watch was it? I'm a Tag guy myself. Just got my first one about 6 months ago went with the Calibre 8 Carrera.

Unfortunately....what I got her wasn't anything near as nice. I told her we had an agreement...but oh well. She ended up with a Coach bag a few days later as a consolation gift!

Maybe you missed my point, or maybe you're being coy. I know what I've gotten traditionally in the past when I bought a woman jewelry.

Anyway, I ordered my wife a .357 revolver today. I'll report back.....

LOL......I have a gun vice as well. I just don't tend to put that out in the "intra-webs" too much. But my brother is a Sheriff's Deputy, and we have a friend who has a dealer's license....so I like to splurge there as well.

Watch is a TAG Heuer Aquaracer 500M. Just had a better look.

I used to be more discrete about my hobby.....actually I have a few hobbies, some might say bad habits. But now I figure screw it. I'm old and I don't really care if some snowflake gets their feelings hurt.

I have a watch weakness too, and cars, and stereos, and whisk(e)y and boats....damn.

Nice! I have one of those as well. It's one of my favorites.....Mainly because it's a Silver face. Most of mine are black, dark gray, or white.

The silver face just called to me!

Yeah I've gotten a few things from them as well as chrono24. Depends where I find deals mostly. Just bought a pre moon speedmaster pro with 220 bezel I'm stoked about.

Sounds like some nice hobbies. My hobby seems to be work all the time since starting around November last year. Business had been growing, but volume of orders literally doubled overnight.

Funny thing is that we can't find anyone that wants to work. It's isn't demanding physical labor, but is smelly. (Specialty Chemical Plant).

Now my wife is as much into guns as I am....well more into shooting. She loves to go to the range. She grew up on a 55 acre farm in a "very rural" NC mountain area with an older brother who looks like on of the Duck Dynasty brothers.

She had always shot from an early age. Only time I pissed her off was when I was handing off guns to her at the range....and I slipped my Linebaugh .475 revolver into the mix with a pretty "hot load".

After that one she didn't trust me for awhile.
