Out: my E93 M3. In: my W212 E63

Hey guys,

I've moved back to India and am really missing my E93 M3. However, It was time to mod my E63 AMG as I now am permanently in India and have time to play with this beast.

Mods

- Custom Full Exhaust
- WaveTrack LSD
- Satin Black wrap with Red highlights

Do enjoy the pictures and please help me chose what wheels to get, I've mainly been looking at HRE P101's but please give me suggestions. Also, if anybody is from India, hit me up so we can go for a spin.

Hope you all have a good day!

OP, congrats on the new ride and your new residency. Seems like some of the BMW fans went with the all-new C63 after the F-Series was introduced.

Ok, sure. Or stated differently, OP:

"It looks like other BMW loyalists bought a completely different car from you once Ford released their latest pickup truck."

Yeah, I was being a little sarcastic, but even with such a change it still doesn't make sense. OP has an E63 not a C63. So it still isn't clear to me exactly what point the guy was trying to make, if there is even a legitimate point there at all.

Excuse me. E63. My point is that many have left BMW families after the new facelift AMGs are introduced, the same time when the F-Series was introduced for BMW. It wasn't a point, I am just stating what seems to be the trend.

To each their own but (most) new face lifted AMG's look like ostrich eggs on wheels. I loved the previous generation of Mercs - each with their own distinct styling and personality. Glad they didn't ruin the G's styling with their melting jelly bean design language. Whoever designed the new E-class could make a hell of a career designing bars of soap.

Fair enough. Although I haven't noticed that trend myself. I see plenty of interest in Fxx BMW products. OP has a generation-old E63, just as his M3 was a generation old. I suspect he purchased both used and may very well pick up a used F10 M5 or F8x M3/M4 in the future as well once those are replaced by new generation vehicles (which will invariably cause their asking prices to slide).

I think the other way. I think all new bmws start to look like eggs on wheels. At least mercedes completely redesigned there new vehicles, and there sales are growing. But bmw keeps making all this new cars.... sport, m sport , m340/550... there is no more special feel for having a ///M car.

How is that different than the "AMG" 43's? At least BMW keeps the single number car naming scheme to true M's.

Everyone has their own opinion buddy. I've been a hardcore M Fan but I would also like to say I am SO happy I got the E63 over the F80. I was really disappointed by the way the I-6 Sounds and also there aren't too many tracks around here

Thanks Buddy! I still am and will always be an M fan! However, taking practicality into consideration, I felt this was a much better buy and I don't regret my decision one bit.

Damn that's shame for AMG model. I hated BMW because only M's have LSD, but Mercedes is even worse
