Authentic Watch Store dot com versus Authenticwatches.com

I suspect some folks at one point or another have heard of AuthenticWatches.com. They are after all a popular GMS of many very nice watches. They, like Alan Furman, Jomashop and others, are quite legit.

I want to point out not to confuse them with AuthenticWatchStore.com, which is a scamming outfit, at least that's what I've read.

Just sharing what I hope is a useful "caveat emptor."

Purchased several Movados from Authenticwatchstore.com, had them verified by Movado, completely genuine.

Doesn't surprise me there are copy cat sites trying to piggy back off them, selling fugazzis.

I think you misread Tony's post. He is saying Authenticwatchstore.com is a "scamming outfit". You had a good experience with them but I just wanted to clarify that Tony was saying Authenticwatches.com was the legit website...

Personally I have no skin in the game and have no dealings with either website so won't comment...

Yes, you did correctly read my statements.

I don't really have any skin in the game either. Alan Furman is my preferred GMS. I'm just passing on what I read elsewhere. My post is at best a "community service announcement." LOL

Am I miss reading? It's a copy cat scam site. Those always pop up trying to ride the real site's coat tails.

Right, but Tony was saying that Authenticwatchstore.com is the copy cat site, riding the coat tails of Authenticwatches.com. Your response was that you had used Authenticwatchstore.com with excellent results, contradicting Tony. Simply pointing that out...
