Any good photography tutorials online?
just picked up a canon XS. its my 1st DSLR, and id like to learn the basics.
there is a basic photography class at a local college, but that deals only in film. just curious if there is anything online that goes over real basic stuff? good youtube channels, beginner articles, anything. any suggestions on equipment would be appreciated too (beginner lens, ect.) bear in mind i am a complete newb to this. thanks. |

I've had everyone and their mother recommend this book to me. I haven't read it yet, but I also don't have my camera yet. Will be buying a Rebel XS sometime next week . |

Try this too. http://www.nyip.com/
They have good articles. Also, if there's a Calumet Photo near you, they offer classes all the time. I also recommend reading photog books and taking a lot of pictures. |
