CCB Replacment
Just heard from my dealer that BMW will replace the CCB pads. They were waffling on whether or not they would. The decision is yes, they will replace pads. They also stated that the rotors are lifetime and will not need to be replaced track time or not. Good news.

This is new to me! The dealer in Chapel Hill NC stated that as part of the 4yr/50K maintenance plan pads are NOT covered. I won't give stock into this new claim until my Stealer has documentation telling them what to do.
My info is as recent as last saturday 6/21 when I closed out on my car financing and they were trying to upsell me on warranties and shit. |

BMW rep was saying the rotors "should" last a lifetime. No guarantee. He re-worded it after I said "guarantee?"

I just posted in another thread that it states in the Warranty Booklet that it is NOT covered under maintenance plan. Here is the link to the photo from the booklet:

if you watch a certain video with the m3/4 on the track and listen to the bmw racing instructor he states that the ccb brake rotors on their track cars are only having to be replaced every 30 days instead of daily. so significant improvement but lifetime?doubtful, even brembo states with daily use only, 300k kilometers for rotors or 185k miles roughly.
