Wink Honda takes Aero to a Hole Nother Level ;)

With the aero work on this thing, it may be a genuine rival to the Porsche 911 TTS

PS Spelling in title is intentional.

Wow, I have never seen a tail light spoiler before. Honda will soon sell their cars pre-riced. Then owners just need to drill 2x2 round holes in the rear bumper for weight savings and they are good to go.

In NJ there are a ton of riced Hondas, and they all want to race. When you ignore them they become increasingly dangerous. Last time one of them (had to be on purpose) switched across four lanes without looking and came danger close to hitting me square on.. had to swerve onto the shoulder to avoid an accident.

Nothing pisses me off more then a reckless driver, regardless of what car they are driving.

Of course not! It was an attempt to both mock Honda and mock another member who posted a thread with a similar title.

BTW They forgot to add VTEC sticker. Probably saving that for the Performance package.

Nothing is more disrespectful than a 93 Civic with a Turbo trying to race a real super car. Go home child.

Forget that. Racing in public streets is illegal and people who do it should go to jail. Nothing is more unsafe than going wheel to wheel on a public street.

Speeding is one thing, but racing is another.

You can joke with Honda but don’t underestimate them.

Look at the VTEC’s (Type R’s for sure). Talking about (very) old atmospheric engines now, revving up 9000rpm, all stock. But now there clients want more a house/kitchen/garden car (do you guy’s use that expression in USA? I mean a normal/boring/slow car) then a actual fast car.

160hp out of a 1600cc (Civic)

200hp out of a 2000cc (S2000 but they’re where using it before S2000 came out)

320hp out of a 3000cc (NSX)

Had the chance to test drive S2000 and hated it when I couldn’t drive the NSX for myself, but still, I was impressed as a passenger.

Of course with CO² and fuel consumption and other stuff in mind they need to go turbo/compressor as well and there they need some learning. Then again, other brands have to go with the same problems. Look at the 360hp output of the 4.5AMG (2000cc engine) against the 340hp output of the 3.5si (3000cc).

Curious about the new NSX for a long time now, curious about the collaboration between Toyota (Another Jap you can joke with) and BMW for the new Supra/Z2.

So…. M engineers should get worry about the competition and re-invite there 2l and 3l bi (of even tri) turbo. BMW can do that but now they even must do it.

F&F shit like driving under trucks?
I hope not all Japanese car owners drive like that over there.

Here in Belgium they say the most reckless/agressive/non social drivers are BMW oweners (for sure blue one's), folowed by Range Rover and Audi's. In real there alot of reckless/agressive/non social drivers but they drive in all sorts of cars (and stuff) and colors.

All joking aside...the real world version is quite a lil rocket...2.0 D.I. turbo putting down 280hp and trying to set the fastest FF lap of the ring.....alas it will never hit US shores....

I'm sure it's one of the best hot hatches out there.

You clearly have no idea what those holes are even there for... There are good Honda racecars, I hope you know that. Honda sports cars are no joke...

Exactly this... Honda has made some great advancements in overall performance, considering weight, power, and handling.

+1

They made the power output in the Civic lower and the total weight of the car higher on newer models.
Got me confused there on the 2l engine.

This car makes me genuinely excited for Honda's future in the US. It's been too long since cars like the NSX, Integra Type-R (and her little brother the GSR) and S2000 graced our shores. Their current offerings have been snooze worthy.

This might be a BMW forum, but I'd expect more people out there to be enthusiasts.
