So my oldest son got a PlayStation five for Christmas. He decided he likes using his PC better for gaming. The things hardly ever been used. It's the disk Drive version.How much of are these things going for? Anyone interested?

New they are $499 for the drive version. The disc less one is $399 new

You asked how much they are? Not where to get them or how hard it is to get them. You are correct, they are extremely hard to find. Or you have to be very lucky to get one.

One thing about gamers and gaming. Just because you have something like the ps5 and its hard to locate doesn't give you the right to raise the price tag on others if that's what your thinking? Gamers will rise up against that.

That being said, these are like gold right now and people will attack you for a chance at one. I'd only sale it to someone responsible and that will actually play it and not try to "benefit" from selling it.

Now that being said, they are $499 disc version. Just look at a retail store website its not hard to find the cost (system and 1 controller). Extra controller is $70 new.

Go to Ceaigslist and check prices there. $800-$1200.

just check daily and you can score one for retail price. I got both my Xbox series X for regular price by being patient. I ended up getting a PS5 for regular price but sold it to a coworker for her kids' Easter gift for what I paid. Not going to be that guy...
says the guy who got two PS3s on launch day at 10am for retail and sold them for $2k each by noon...lol

anyways, I'm still in the market to get a PS5 to play some games I bought for my PS4 since my daughter absconded with my PS4.

Doc - I got my closest friend in Rogers, AR and we've been trying to get one for his kid Jett. I'll hit him up in the morning see if he's gotten lucky but I'm pretty sure he didn't - he would've told me otherwise lol.
