I think it's a Ferrari thing, I don't see any of the other teams wearing the ridiculous things any longer. The fact they lasted as long as they did is just mind numbing.

So this is a tactical addition to the pool? Because there is overtaking possibility and LEC is also starting from the rear?

I think Max only took his 3rd engine last race? So that engine isn't worn yet I recon?

So that opens up a potential battle between SAI, PER and both the Mercs for winning the race maybe?

Lot's of rumours abounding the latest one from Montoya about Merc in something that he 'heard' which will make the Mercs quicker, let's keep in mind the rules are that no work is allowed on cars during the summer break.

If any cars are visibly faster for questionable reasons when being inspected since the break then will we see Ben S taking action.

From what I see RUS has a new floor for FP1 while HAM remains on the old one.
The track was wet from earlier on but drivers report that it is dry now as Max goes fastest by some margin on softs.

Pretty unsafe release of Latifi in the pits....(Max almost ran into him).
More than once drivers have recieved penalty points on their superlicense for this.

Can't believe Williams did that and it's not for the first time they have done that, they may need lessons in basic car release yet stewards can at least warn them instead of 'noting' what is that?

I'm pretty sure there is/was more going on behind the Ferrari and Red Bull curtains .
Charlie's Ferrari PU is completely replaced by stronger stuff like an updated hybrid, MGU-K and updated battery.

I'm not sure yet , but I think HONDA did the same because the moment was right to do it !
Think that HONDA's last cards weren't played and they waited for Ferrari to do it first . That's why Red Bull replaced eveything as well..

MAX's PU can't be EOL that's impossible because he ran just one race with his new HONDA PU at Hungary .

IMO it has to do with 2023 and the engine freeze , that's why it was now or never .
In other words : Ferrari and Red Bull are thinking ahead for the 2023 engine freeze .

The strange PU situation is actually already a 2023 "PU Strategy"

Did this ever happened before that the P1 and P2 in the WDC must start at the last row of the startgrid ?
