I finally saw one!!

I was on my lunch driving to Subway and there it was. Right in front of me, a silver e46 with a ///M3 badge on it. Wait.. something isnt right here, thats not an M3.... damn fake badges! I was about to roll up next to him and provide

but before i was able to he turned and was gone. I didnt even have time to snap a pic.

The little bugger just popped up and was gone before i knew it. I'm going to hunt the wascally e46 down and get a pic!

Last week I drove the better part of my commute with a "1M" in front of me (clearly a 128). Best part is, in front of him was an M5. Between two real M cars and nowhere to go in bumper to bumper traffic, I don't think that guy could have sat lower in his seat if he tried.

I also get to regularly enjoy the antics of a "C63 AMG" driver on the same route, who unsurprisingly drives like a complete ass.

Finally, there's a guy with very nicely trimmed 550, which is super cool apart from the M badges ALL over it. I think I counted FIVE.

The fake badging is sad, but it doesn't really bother me. I do wonder what it is that these people think they are showing. Those of us who know what the "M" badge represents (or the "AMG", "S", and "RS" badges) will easily recognize a counterfeit, and to the rest of the world it means nothing.
