This car will be amazing! I've been raving about it for some time now. This will be on my list of what I may want to purchase in 2-3 years once they start producing.

Really looking forward to seeing this one in person. I hope it doesn't look overly tall like the Challenger and Chargers can appear to me.

Looks great on paper, will be interesting to see how reliable it is and how well it is built. Both will probably be Alfa's biggest struggle.

Also, the ATS-V is what you mean here. The CTS-V is more of an M5 competitor. Don't know where you're finding new CTS-V's selling for mid $60k.

I don't own a new BMW (I know better...I let other suckers eat the depreciation). A comment was made about my 335. To get a comparable M3 would have cost me ~2x as much, at which point I could scoop up a comparable CTS-V for the same money.

My initial comment was regarding the NEW M3/M4 and not being impressed by it. My subsequent responses had nothing to do with it. Get it now or is there a better way I can spell it out for you? |

No Video of the time around the Nordschleife yet, while there is a Video of the M4 GTS making it in 7:28 a whole 11 seconds faster then Alfas claimed time for the giulia. This is gonna be interesting.

GTS is a stripped M4 with no rear seats, minimal equipment, etc., don't think it's in the same league.

I dont see how you can argue having backseats making it okay to be 11 seconds slower. The Giulia QV is a complete new development, there was so much big talk about how innovative the active aerodynamic features are, the FERRARI developed engine, rather light, etc. Then they present better specs (More Power, Lighter) then an M4/M4 and claim (no Video) to be so much faster on the nordschleife. BMW then evens up the numbers on paper (power/weight ratio) with the GTS and gives Alfa a spanking. Looking at the power/weight ratio and the gap on the nordschleife makes it a no brainer which car is performance wise the better car. |
