Oil temps?

I just did a few street runs against my friend earlier, nothing huge just some 20-120 races about 6 times. After this I looked down and my oil temp was 260. I know turbo cars run hot and I have the factory oil cooler, but damn that's still hot. Then it hit me, what oil temps are you guys running out on the track? You guys have to be getting up there running the car hard for roughly 30 min. So how high do they actually get?

Sounds about right. You can search to get more info since this has been discussed extensively.

To answer your question, the highest I have seen is about 290 and I have MT+oilcooler. Temp varies greatly with how hot the ambient temperature is, how hard the car is driven, track configuration, the specific car configuration, e.g. with/without oil cooler, MT or AT, mods, etc. With respect to how hard the car is driven, a novice driver doesn't push the car as hard on the track as an expert driver so you will see varying answers with experts running pretty hot unless modded to deal better with it.
