Don't get me wrong, I'm sure it sounds amazing when you hear in real life but..
that exhaust sound from youtube is just disappointing.
It sounds like a motorcycle engine in the i3!

I'm sorry, but this is not track car. I don't care how BMW labels it. It's no track car. It's an m4 that's "blinged out". A track car is a GT3 or a Viper ACR. This... This is horrible.

Put the water injection, the lights and other performance upgrades in a stock looking body with nice paint and wheels like 359s, don't install the wing, leave as optional for track rats ... then IMO there would be a lot more love. At least they really set this car apart from upcoming ZCP.

Hopefully BMW goes for simpler more stock looks on the M3 CRT. Just the water injection and some lightweight carbon bits would be enough.

What a bunch of Negative Nancys !!! Hahaha!! Makes me laugh. All those negative comments from people who simply can't afford it. It quite obvious. Jealousy will get you nowhere boys. I for one, love the car! ... And it's wheels, splitter, rear wing.
So glad looks are subjective, or else we would all have the same car.... and the same girlfriend, aircraft, and motorcycle. Objectively speaking, form follows function, so for someone who is interested in performance, the gts is a thing of beauty.
I hope some of you will manage a smile today, if not at least from this post.

I wish BMW put someone completely fresh of context on board as chief designer.

I think there isn't a BMW car in this last generation that has made everyone fall in love with it.

It is not a matter of black magic. It's the talent and lets put it simple: Ian Callum and Walter de Silva are superior than Karim Habib or Adrian van Hooydonk.
