Used M2's holding their value in So Cal?
Bob Smith BMW has a MY17 M2, with 4,000 miles, and they're asking $57,991.
According to my figures, that's $509 below new pricing, unless there's something added to it that I'm not seeing... It has DCT, Executive package, special paint and I think that's it... One year old, 4k miles and it only drops by $500??? A MY16, with 3,722 miles, is asking $60.397! Executive package, DCT and White. Are M2's holding their value this well, or are these atypical? |

You tell us man. Most of us are not shopping around for an M2 anymore
It feels good to know, but I'm not selling my M2 anytime soon |

Not to steal the OPs post but curious if bue book would be higher with Dinan stage 4 PKG. I know typically with aftermarket mods it wouldn't change anything and sometimes devalue the car but since this is all under warranty it should raise value correct??

Blue book only has an add for factory options so Dinan would not be listed. The value is only to the current and next owner.

Price it at the book value, plus half what the add-ons cost - but be ready to lose the total value of the add-ons. Most of the time, add-ons don’t help the value of the car - and often buyers view used vehicles with performance add-ons as having been driven harder than a vehicle without them, so they think the vehicles are worth less. It takes a special buyer to appreciate the value of an enhanced car - especially since there may be warranty problems later.
