How many Tighten/Loosen Cycles for Aluminum Lug nuts?
See title^^
When is it recommended to replace aluminum extended lug nuts? I have been removing my wheels quite a bit lately, and wasn't sure if there is a "safe" amount of tighten/loosen cycles for aluminum nuts. Thanks for any help guys!

Hmm, interesting.. I've never heard of this before.. I've had quite a few track cars that used aluminum bolts and the only time I replaced them is when they snapped or stripped lol.. I'd like to know as well if there's some endlife cycle for these..

If these are race application lugs.....1 tighten loosen cycle or each race.
If I were you I would go back to steel lugs.....aluminum fails way to easily. |
