Hi folks

I've just p-ex'd my F31 330d M Sport for an F25 30d M Sport and there's one problem that seems so stupid and easy to resolve, but like hell can I figure it out.

On my F31, when I started the car, it would automatically start to play from my iTunes library (music app)

On the F25, it brings up the track on the car screen, but wont start playing it, until I press play on the iphone, which is usually in a pocket or in my bag, so its a chore to get to.

Any ideas how I can get the music to play automatically as it did in the F31, before I see how good my phone is at being a Frisbee?

Has the F25 got enhanced BT? If not it could be that?

Its got the Professional Nav, not sure if enhanced BT comes with that?

I think this is an iOs 10 thing. You are right in that tracks used to just start when you switched to media. Now you have to press play on the device. I've noticed this too.

iOS 10 is very buggy with the current BMW software. I'm playing music through the USB connector in the central armrest from an iPhone 6s with music playing on 'Random' Mine regularly comes up with rediculous track numbers on the scroll wheel after a few days and subsequently refuses to allow last track/next track to work. Going to 'Search' and 'All Songs' and selecting 'Play Selection' seems to set it back on track. Mrs R's iPod is on iOS8 and it's just started the random pause thing, so I don't think its limited to iOS10
