Well good for you.

My father had some Frank Sinatra (and others) on 78 RPM records. He died at the age of 87 ten years ago. We weren't close at all. I do like me some Sinatra, though.

This pic was from 1947 - a little before my time - I was born in '55. A lot of people collect old 78s.

45 was good for turning your favorite band into the Chipmunks.

45 singles were what I first bought at around 11,12 years old. 1966, 67. Sounded great to me.

Well, of course that would be funny. 😄

I actually did have an Alvin & the Chipmunks record. It was a 33 RPM Christmas record.

You know you're old if...

You had your mouth washed out with soap.

I've had that done. The taste, if you can call it that, does NOT go away anytime soon. Yuck!

Mom? Hell, I've cranked one of those. First real job was at a butcher shop. Making ground beef was part of it. Although come to think of it, the one I used may have been electric.

I broke my right wrist when I was 15 or so. What did I do? Failed an important standardized writing test at school the next morning, being forced to write left-handed for the first time! Seriously, what I scratched in that little blue test booklet looked like it was straight out of kindergarten. They thankfully let me re-take the test once my wrist was healed.....

So I run preliminary payroll every Friday morning and final payroll Monday
Today our software had an update and I couldn't run it

-So I email our accountant and the service manager, "Hey anyone know the new screen for payroll b/c 3810 isn't working"
-Yeah, 3810 isn't payroll 3618 is

Every week for almost 20 years I have used that screen, I'm old
