Doing some research for a new ecommerce business. I’m curious what type of wallet the folks here prefer? Simple leather bi-fold? BMW M wallet? Hardshell card case? Designer brand?

Post photos or links if you can. Thanks!

Had one of these for a few years and liked it. The tab that pulls to card "slider" broke so I got another one. I have a hard one someone gave me somewhere... but I'm skeptical how comfortable it will be and it's rather small.

My wife gave a Montblanc wallet about 10 years ago and I still use it every day. It's a great wallet. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B08SMHZB6V...1ME4A6ATQQ2GW9

After years of only using trifolds - I just switched to Ekster carbon fiber to go a little minimalist.

This Guy

Love it...only issue is that when I travel, I need the receipts. That part is a little inconvenient. Also, I typically carry my wallet in the front pocket...need to make sure it and the phone are not in the same (feel it would scratch the phone glass)

Phone case. This isn’t judgmental, but why, why does anyone need more their ID and one credit card on any outing from their house. Maybe if you’re traveling long term or business I get it, I too have a Tumi CF wallet to put into my backpack. Still during the day, I still carry one card. It’s bulky, one more thing to manage and lose and so forth. The only reason I understand a wallet over a phone case is a phone case is your style statement. Credit card cases are not sexy.

I’m so basic. I have an LV wallet I bought maybe 4 years ago? I’m more about functionality than status. When this wallet wears down, it’ll be target brand from here on out.

The thing is I may not need some of the cards I carry 99% of the time. However if I don't carry them with me I need to remember to get it that 1% of the time... and that aint happening!

Mine almost looks like George Costanza's. But it does have that lining to prevent people from cloning the RFID chips in my credit cards.

Picked up one of these https://www.kickstarter.com/projects...aphael-quality back in the early kickstarter days, 2014? They're a bit more money now but has served me well. Initials engraved as well.

Gucci, brown leather bifold with a simple red and green stripe. It's over 7 years old now, classically timeless in appearance, and got it on sale at the time for like $300. Great purchase. I clean and condition the leather a couple times a year, still looks new.

If you're into the actual leather quality and not a brand name then a Horween Shell Cordovan one from Ashland Leather would be hard to beat. Two brothers who work for the Horween tannery started the business. Have their Fat Herbie and love it, although am thinking of getting their new Capone money clip.

I switch off between this bi-fold and this card holder depending on mood. Although lately I've mostly been using the card holder since it's easier to fit into my front pocket. I hate keeping my wallet in my back pocket.
