Possibly relocating to WA?
Please correct me if I'm wrong, but the smog check is done through the OBD port in Washington. There is no tailpipe sniffer?
I would be working in Bremerton. From what I've read Seattle/Bellevue seem like my sort of places to live. I'm used to living in a neighborhood where M3's, 911's, Tesla's, F-type's aren't out of the ordinary. I'm not saying that I want to necessarily live in Beverly Hills, just not an area where such vehicles would attract undue attention. Any recommendations? Thanks for any help! |

Yes please, move here. This place needs fresh blood.
No idea about the rules but based on what my friends have under them there can't be many. Do not move to Kirkland. True me on this. Just don't.

In general, mid-high levels cars are not at all uncommon in the Bellevue/Seattle areas.

I was dropping off the spouse and in 7km I saw 3 M4's. These are more common here than Camrys. None of them was as pretty as yours though!

Go to Nathan at Seattle. Tell him Anna sent you and you'll be set forever.
Evan is the mechanic there you want.

My allergy for Bellevue is huge. Today I took Peter in for the fifth time to Seattle. Still no error code. They have pics taken by me as a proof of his oil thing, and I do realize it has been difficult for them to justify replacing the oil gauge. My service adviser is used to my faul mouth. He aslo knows me pretty much by now. And never have I gotten any shit from them. His recommended mechanic has always been nice enough to walk to the car with me so I can show him any issues I've had, since they know this is my fourth language. I've never gotten stupid remarks from them as I got from an other (" maybe you're driving him too hard if he shows you those lights, slow down) and even when the issue has been as weird as mine, they've done their best. Now. I'd say as the test group I'm as bad as it comes. I'd take mine there always.

I hate Bellevue with a passion. Bought my E92 M3 from them and I'm never going back there. Never had any experience with their service department since I went straight to Seattle after I bought it. Only bought because I wanted a CF roof that Seattle didn't have.
For sales: Go see Karl Enemark. Top M sales in the NW. Truly passionate about M cars and doesn't BS you. None of that high pressure sales, just a love for cars. Service: I highly recommend Alex Long. He services most of the M clients and is the person with track experience. For me, this is important because I want someone who knows what they are talking about when it comes to high performance cars. |

IDK what you're talking about.. Because I've leased 5 cars from them (last one just a couple months ago) and have been very happy with every experience. My friends and family have also bought cars at Bellevue. And after having worked in car sales in my earlier years, I can truly say that Bellevue has handled everything very professionally for me. Also, every time I had an issue with the car the service department fixed it the first time around. I can't say that about the service experiences I've had down here in SoCal.
I've even seen a few Bellevue BMW license frames in Cali. ;-) But here is also the other good thing about Bellevue.. they are usually given many slots for M productions... I walked into Bellevue in December around xmas, ordered my car to how i wanted it, and it finished production 3 weeks later. Last edited by SierraZulu9; 03-13-2015 at 03:33 AM.. |
