Road Hazard / Tire Insurance (BMW vs Aftermarket)
Has any had any experience (claims etc) and insight wrt Road Hazard / Tire Insurance??
I signed up for the BMW Road Hazard Insurance (CAD 479 for 5 yrs) but now I have second thoughts b/c heard there is a comparable (better?) offer from First Canadian Insurance. Any views/opinions/experiences are welcome Last edited by 328Toronto; 04-26-2007 at 10:18 AM.. |

I was able to find two alternative insurance providers
Safe-Guard - Wheel & Tire Road Hazard Protection Program: http://www.safe-guardproducts.com/ptire.php Coast To Coast - Road Hazard Tire-Rim protection: http://www.coasttocoast.ca/tirerim.asp CAN ANYONE RECOMMEND any of the two (or another insurance) over the BMW offer?

Tire & Wheel Insurance
I passed on the insurance as well. I'm going to keep the tires on the car for now but will eventually move to non-rft and just keep a Continental Tire ContiComfortKit in the car. As for the Rims you can buy a complete set of replica rims for $750 USD. They are made to the same spec as the OEM.
