Actually, it looks like a pretty reasonable car for general bullshit. I would buy one if I was in the position where I needed that.

If you don't wreck it, the people I know with anything but the Model X all seem to be impressively reliable. The X just has issues with the dumb doors.

Now body work is an entirely different story, I have multiple friends whose car has been out of service multiple months waiting for minor repairs.

Give me 320+ range with autopilot/self driving for $35K and I would be interested.

But not for 220 miles at ~$48K:

$35K
$2K white (black is only no-cost color)
$1.5K 19" wheels
$3K auto pilot
$5K self driving
$1.2K delivery
= $47.7K

(auto-pilot/self driving can be added after delivery but for $11K, instead of $8K)

IMHO, they look better online than in real life. There is a dirty red one (never been washed) at my work place and it is just blah in person -- first 3/4 look decent, but that rear just looks too short and ruins the profile IMHO.

Now imagine the wait time once these $35K cars hit the road. It may not matter whether you will wreck it...it's most likely someone will wreck it for you while texting!

I agree these electrical cars are nice for like commuting and shit like that as you say haha.

But the Model 3 dash I hate it. Like there is no dash, it's a screen in the middle not even under your eyes.

Then there is the build quality problems...

If you can get it for $28K US after incentives, some build quality issues might be forgiveable.

Can you run the incentives down that get it to $28K?

Not sure if some states have bigger incentives, but here in MA it's $2500, so that's $6250 in credits.

$35K base model
-$3750 Federal credit
-$2500 MA EV credit

$28,750 + $1200 delivery = $29,950

(On the Tesla web site they include "estimated 6-year gas savings: $4300)

Federal tax credit of $3750 roughly and estimating state incentives Varys by state. I wouldn't count fuel savings but Tesla includes that and has it listed as $24k in CA. Fuel savings depends on what car you currently drive and how much you drive as well as fluctuating gas prices vs cost of electricity which ranges from free to expensive depending on how you charge.

$3,750 is only till June or so... My state offers no incentive for EV and actually taxes you more to offset the loss of gas taxes.

Have you sat in the back seat? Completely intolerable for a normal-sized adult.

If it had an air intake front grill, a real dashboard, and 4 comfortable seats, I'd have bought one by now. The tablet design is nothing but cost cutting.

That's not what Consumer Reports thinks.
They dropped Tesla from their list of recommended cars. Was that because of minor repairs?

Who? The people that review toasters? I'll take my reviews from actual owners and car tags, not those twits.
