Do you wear a wrist watch?
And if so, what type?
I stopped wearing a wrist watch when I retired, but now that I've looked at some of the new smart watches, I'm reconsidering. Basically, I'm interested in the type that track various health points such as heart rate, sleep, etc. What seems to work for you? Thx.

If you're into the Apple ecosystem, the Apple Watch is awesome. If you're not an Apple person, then not so much.

During the weekdays, its my Apple watch and on the weekends its usually a Tag or my NOA.
I just find no real need for a smart watch during the weekends |

I grabbed a free promo for the samsung smart watch (3) when I ordered my note-9 a couple of years back - so I wear that one most of the time.
It is nice to glance at to see incoming texts notifications and to use as a quick caller id when my phone rings / / but outside of that novelty - I don't really use it for anything other than to look to see what time it is at random. With a computer in front of me most days, and my phone never far away - I truly mean "random" whenever I'll glance at my wrist to see the time - haha. |

Before retirement, I wore watches all the time. Now, occasionally I will slap on one of my watches if I'm in the mood, but mostly my wrist is naked.
I never did get into the smart watch. I was tethered enough during my work years so I am not interested in immediate notification of anything. I glance at my phone often enough to feel as connected as I want to be. Using a smart phone for tracking body status is not my thing either. I hike with good friends who are really into keeping track of steps, heart rate, REM sleep, elevation gained, distance traveled, gas volume of their last fart, density of their last crap, etc. While I get why people are into this level of status tracking, I just cannot be bothered with it personally. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9FzCWLOHUes |

I wear a Citizen Eco Drive daily. It's solar, I've had it for about 10 years and still on original battery. I like that it has multiple time zones it can display at the same time. I travel to EU for work a lot, so I can see local time and time back home at once.
I don't own a smart watch, and have no interest in digital watches. I prefer a classic, functional time piece which never runs out of charge.

I like the idea of minimalism. Ever since I started carrying a mobile phone with a clock on it, I stopped wearing a watch. Once in a while if I'm dressing up I'll put on my simple Junghans Max Bill Automatic. It's face is based off of the design of the classroom clocks of the Bauhaus. I run for exercise every other day. I just got a Apple Watch SE cellular for the heart rate monitor, Strava and music while I run.

Just an Apple Watch, got one for me and the lady a few Black Fridays ago for cheap. I love the usefulness of it since I can reply to text messages without having the take my phone out.

LOL. I wear my Patek 5711 to bed when I first got it. Until I smack my wife on her forehead. I have been banned wearing anything on my waist in bed. But basically weekday working is my Apple Watch and weekend is my PP or rollie. |

I love a nice heavy watch. I keep several to match whatever I'm wearing or a sport model if I'm outside. I can certainly understand the antiquated feeling some people have about wrist wear but I still like the feeling.

ive worn a "real" watch every day for the last decade or so. From cheaper quartz up to luxury swiss brands.
However, about 6 month back my wife got a new samsung galaxy watch and i tried out her old one, and ive now worn that every day. Something easy about just glancing at my watch to see why my phone is buzzing instead of having to pull my phone out of my pocket.

Fitbit HR for me. I bash the crap out of any watch I wear, so I simply cannot be trusted with anything that is expensive. Otherwise, I would love an Apple Watch. I see that OtterBox just came out with special cases for them, so maybe I'll look into that kind of strategy; I love OtterBox on my phone.

Not unless it's to a formal function, and then they don't work, it's just for the aesthetic. I don't wear jewelry of any kind, aside from my wedding ring, which is a slim carbon fiber affair.

shortly after I turned 22 I always wear one and I feel naked without it on. When at the Gym and going to bed is the only time I dont wear one.
Was just telling this to my friend but im not a flashy or materialsitc person in most aspects of life but I dont mind spending money on watches, cars, and women. I fluctuate between my Versace brown leather strap, black movado (classic), Bulova, and my tommy hilfiger watch (has sentimental value). Never a fan of digital or smart watches always classic analogs some are the self wind as well.

I have 3 watches, generally alternate, but mostly wore my Rolex Daytona, especially during business travel. I've been working from home and seldom have an occasion outside of work to dress up, mostly wearing athleisure. Haven't really worn a watch in 1.5 years since for me the watch is more of a fashion statement than a function of utility.

Hello, my name is Ken and I have a watch problem...
I have more than 30 watches, most of which are dive/sport watches from micro brands. I do have two Omegas, both divers, and two Breitlings including a Navitimer for dressier occasions and diver. Needless to say I rotate a lot, including my Apple watch but I just have a love for the weight of a well built watch, along with a real love for the automatic movements that power them.

My daily (work) watch is a Tissot XL chrono and my weekend watch (when I wear one) is Breitling Super Avenger.
I also have a couple of Tags from days gone by sitting in a cupboard somewhere. |

Used to be an Apple watch but since I got my Garmin Fenix 7x Sapphire Solar I have not touched my Apple watch.
I mainly got it for increased stats, advanced workout tracking, much better battery life, full maps, and it pairs with my inReach Mini emergency GPS beacon.
