I've barely touched my gear in over a year. Cycling has taken over my life and I just don't seem to have time to shoot any more.

Osprey with one ugly fish. It took me a while to ID it, but it is called, get this, a "plainfin midshipman".

I've used Midshipmen for fishing bait before. A face only a mother could love or a hungry Osprey with a family to feed! At least you were able to identify it, which is more success than I've had with this chrysalis I found in Batu, Indonesia earlier this year.

Sonoma chipmunk in the enchanted forest. The species, Sonoma chipmunk, live only in a narrow band of northern California with most of the population residing in Sonoma and Marin counties.
