Introduction
Hey all!
I'm new here... and new to BMW ownership. I just picked up a 2012 F30 328i M-Sport. Have owned her for a week now and am loving it! I'm from Western Australia and have been fairly heavily into the modified car scene for a while, mostly into Jap cars... competed in motor sport for years, mostly Drifting... since becoming a father though, this type of behaviour has not been as easily affordable. haha. This is my 'sensible' car. Anyway, just wanted to say hi. Couldn't find a dedicated introductions thread. here are some pics of the car. cheers! Thanks guys.
yeah... i'm new so i thought a little leg was appropriate... or did i get that wrong? haha. the dark rims really sold it for me... (as well as it being the model i wanted with the extras i wanted) i have already got the BimmerCode app and waiting for the WiFi dongle to arrive so i can code in a few comfort things i want (delete disclaimer at startup, mirrors fold / unfold when unlocking the car, M-display on screen etc) so that'll be nice... the only other thing i can think i'd like to mod at this stage is getting the 335 rear pipe and diffuser, and (if i can get them at a decent price) a brake upgrade to the M-Performance spec brakes. But mostly just for the aesthetics of it... maybe even the LED brake lights!! hnnggggg. |

There is a huge scene when it comes to modifying BMWs it may turn out not to be as sensible as you think lol.

I was just at the dealer and they had a 340i on the show room floor that was stickered at $55k and had $8k worth of m performance parts but no mppsk, m brakes or LSD. I was like they skipped all the important stuff lol. The final price was $62k, which is near m3 money for mostly cosmetic upgrades. No sensible person would equip their 340 that way.
