Active VE52 vs Active 2.0

Currently, I use a chemical guys "foam cannon" which attaches to the end of my hose and shoots out soap and water, but I really want to upgrade to a pressure washer setup. The two that have caught my eye are the Active VE52 and the Active 2.0. I know that the latter is objectively better but it's also $150 more, and I'm wondering if that price difference is worth it. I will only be using it to wash my cars.

I've also seen that many people purchase "upgrades" for their pressure washer setups, like a short gun, foam cannon, hose, etc.
Do you guys think those are worth the money over whatever you get in the box?

Thanks!

Just to confuse things, I thought I saw there was going to be an active 3.0

But the internet seems to love the 2.0.

I would of bought a 2.0 but already have a Kranzle

i have a 2.0 and love it. imo, best bang for your buck. i'd recommend whatever setup you go with that you invest in a good gun, nozzles, fittings, etc. it makes the washing experience much more enjoyable

How much would it be for an amateur setup including the Active 2.0? If I end up pulling the trigger on either the 2.0 or the Ve52 I'm probably going to end up using whatever comes in the box first to see if I need to upgrade or if it meets my needs

Ended up getting the Active 2.0, used it for the first time today with a bunch of extra addons and loved it

I had a VE52 and it only lasted about 9 months before it quit. I currently have this Ryobi and been going strong for almost 2 years. I changed the hose and all the accessories. It can power my foam cannon and provides plenty of pressure for washing the car.

Youtube review here (not mine)
