Carbon Fiber Products Update...market Research.

Good evening members. Today, I went to meet a supplier here in the metro Atlanta area that deals with manufacturing FRP products along with carbon fiber products. To put everything as simple as possible, everything is good to go. I was able to see all their manufacturing processes and all the cars they've done work on (ie Porsche, Ferrari, and MBenz).

The good part of this company is that, they offer painting as well, so we can provide them to the OEM paint color to meet the needs of the customers for their vehicles from simple colors to black or extravagant custom colors.

My question is, if I decide to make a front replica bumper, say of the M-Technic, is it possible to retrofit the stock fogs from the stock bumper to the M-Technic bumper? This company does not deal anything on the electronic side. If somebody could answer my question regarding this, I can get the process to start up.

Btw, my bumpers will be the lightest on the market, weighing very very light and weight savings of atleast 75% from stock.

FYI, the M-tech bumper comes with different foglight enclosures that are of a different shape. They also use different bulbs.

So in other words, if you purchase the replica M-Tech bumper, you'll just have to purchase new bulbs from the dealership? It should be pretty much just plug 'n play correct?

Yes & no. The bumper you're referring to is if it's a straight Fiberglass bumper. However, the bumper I'll be using is an epoxy made bumper, which will be stronger compared to fiberglass.

What about some lips/splitters for the M tech bumper. Quite a few people have the M tech in states now and from next year it`ll be offered from the factory as it has been over Europe for the last 12 mths.
