Aaagh. Enough with the surveys
I have some medical issues and everyone of my interactions want me to do a survey. Hospital, doctor, pharmacy. Rate our app, how was your interaction, please stay on the line for a brief survey. Not to mention the bank, credit cards, all my utilities. Anyone else on survey overload?

I hear you. I'm sick to death of surveys. You can't buy a loaf of bread these days without getting a text or email asking you to rate your experience. I love our local hospital and lab. They do great work and there is rarely any long wait. But jeez, they bug you like crazy to fill out surveys for even a simple blood draw. They even called me once. I thought there might have been an issue with my blood draw, so I answered the phone. When the guy started asking me to rate the experience, I almost blew up at him.

Yup. Bye anything at CVS, and as long as I use my rewards card, I get a survey. Then, any score lower then a 10 out of 10, and they ask "What can we do to improve your experience".
Geez, I gave you a 9/10... 90% ain't bad last time I checked!! What can you do better, I dunno.... give me the vitamins for free ??!!

My medical insurance provider just reached out to me a few hours ago with a robocaller to conduct a survey about why I am a week late for refilling a prescription. "Are you having problems with transportation to your pharmacy?" "Is your medication too expensive?" "Do you have problems remembering when to take your medications?" On a scale of 1 through 5, where 1 means that you strongly disagree and 5 means that you strongly agree.....

You guys are primarily referencing poorly run, off the shelf, cheap n nasty customer sat surveys that are mostly automated. It's very frustrating for us in the industry as it's made talking to people very difficult, that and the scammers.

any place that I plan to return to gets top ratings no matter the truth. I’ve found I get better treatment when my surveys are “all 5’s”, even on the anonymous surveys.
Speaking of anonymous surveys, I had 3 visits to a new dermatologist after we moved into the area. Each time we had a brief chat but there was no examination at all. So on the anonymous survey following the third visit I made the comment that I thought it odd a dermatologist would not look at the skin of a new patient. On the fourth visit, 90 days later, she made a point to comment that if I wanted her to examine my skin I should just ask. Clearly not anonymous, and missed the point entirely anyway. |

One thing I learned about surveys is that there are only two "acceptable" responses; 10 and less than 10. A 9 has the same weight as a 1. They are not at all geared towards honest answers, just 10's. It's a really stupid system.
