How big is your IQ?

Just curious and how does it relate to one being successful in business/job?

Does anyone take those anymore? The ones online don't count, because they're all bogus. I scored ridiculous on one of those, I don't even remember how much. I kind of remember taking a shorter one in my Psychology class, I think I got like 110-120? I don't know. I think all standard measurements of intelligence are pointless though, just my opinion.

I think talking to someone in person, and reading a piece of writing by them can show a lot more about intelligence.

I have no idea what my IQ is, but I'm sure it's OK. BadBob brings up a good point. It takes more than just a high IQ to be successful, including a little luck.

From what I remember, IQ is supposed to represent the potential for academic success. In general, people who are sucessfully academically ultimately become successful in other arenas, as well. But its just that, potential. If you don't do anything with it, you will still amount to nothing.

I have met many people over the years who were very intelligent and probably had very high IQ's, but still saw people with lesser intelligence do better in life because of a strong work ethic.
