I hate to admit. Every time I see this car I like it more and more. Cool to see at least some of the journalists getting to drive the press cars and getting to actually hear them on the road.

Good looking car. Never been a fan of Audi's but this one is nice. Like literally, no interest in buying an Audi. Never.

So good looking but still doesn't touch the M3 when it comes to driving dynamics (sure this was a CS but I think the result would have been the same with a regular M3 Competition). Audi should have offered an ICE only version with the 503? Hp V6. Based on looks alone, I'd probably consider it.

Yup. Also I can't imagine the nightmare this thing will be in a few years when shit starts to go wrong with it.

I've had the engine in 2 cars. It's fairly reliable. That's not what I was talking about...I'm talking about the electrified part of things. To say the rest of the car is as reliable as a Golf is ridiculous (also that's not a high benchmark...I can speak from experience there as well).

VAG products imo are “average” reliability. Whatever that means.
Son has an MQB Tiguan and it has been good. My 9Y0 Cayenne has been good. I had a 958-gen Touareg TDI and aside from the (many and expensive) diesel problems it was a great car. So VAG gets an average rating from me. Beyond engine and transmission, most problems are far less expensive and therefore manageable if an out of pocket repair happens. VAG is miles better than MB, the brand that defines the bottom of the barrel. Japanese obviously are the top brands reliability wise. BMW is somewhere the middle, maybe a half notch better than VAG. The more and more I see this generation of Audi cars, the more I'm calling them the "bigmouth"-generation.
