I love me some Alpina wagons! Such great looking cars and always tastefully modded.

Hands down, there isn't a car I want more than a b3 touring.

I would take a B5 Touring. Cool pics of the E21 too.

You can tell that E21 is a labor of love. Look how clean everything is on it.
I want to see more pics of the gray wagon though. That looks sharp as hell.

I'd take that red E21 over any car on the planet.

Thanks everyone!
No, I asked my contact and Alpina have no plans to make an Alpina based on either the 1er or 2er. The next new Alpina to come out will be a 4er Gran Coupe.

Thanks for that which I suppose is not surprising other than the fact the G42 shares much with G20 so might have been easier to engineer. So MY23 M240i or wait to see what the G87 M2 brings? Decisions, decisions.

This E21 is proof why BMW's were the ultimate driving machines. A slow car (except for the 323) that was way more fun and rewarding to drive than any "faster" car. Those days are LONG GONE.

Love the e21. I have owned two previously, an M10 powered 320i which was good if a little slow, and a 323i which was a hoot to drive. Unfortunately the 323i was written off by someone doing a U-turn on a blind corner otherwise I would still have it. Still, I have to admit that my e30 is much more planted on the road than either of my e21s ever were with their taily handling, especially in the wet.
Looks like it's had a bit of restomod work done. The leather seats are trimmed like an e34 Biturbo & the blacked out sills etc. are missing. |
