Not exactly. (I see that you said megapixels and not pixels, but this is a point of confusion for many, so I'll go on for the noobs). Big pixels, all other things being equal, give lower noise, but less detail, particularly when cropped. The 7D has a very dense pixel-pitch, which will sacrifice some noise, but yield more detail.

I'm worried about large pixels on the 1D-X. The 5D MkII will likely yield more detail on cropping than the amazing new X, which is stunning in all other regards.

So, for cropping, you want small, dense pixels, shot at relatively low ISOs. For high-ISO with low noise, you want large, efficient pixels.

neat capture.
If you asking about the buck, that's all natural light, coming from behind his head and greatly defused by the trees. Ideally, I would have liked an eye light.

Thanks.

looks pretty tasty, i'm planning to make lobster mac & cheese this Thanksgiving. hopefully it comes out good.
FYI - to make a better polaroid on the iPhone, use the crop tool and choose square.

haha, so, you're saying there's full religions out there that never make it to manhood because they can't eat pork products?

I had some bacon on the weekend, it wasn't bad, but still not my cup of tea.

I dunno... I'm not a fan of that photo Tim, despite using rodi's favorite photoshop technique of selective coloring.

May be just an optical illusion TL, but why don't the top and bottom lines seem symmetrical.

I know they shouldn't be parallel, but the bottom seems to aim too far up when it goes under the car (or raise the bottom left corner up).

Just my 2 cents on an otherwise cool pic.

yea i see what you mean
the concept for the image was old E36 from the past moving into a vortex (the frame) to present day.
