New forum for Dads!
Hey anyone a new Dad? Even if you aren't a "new" Dad please share your success stories and advise on baby, marriage, etc.
Today there are LOTS of places for women to go to get advise about their children and pregnancy. Society expects women to raise the kids and it is still the abnormal for people to accept a father as just as capable of raising a child as a woman. I REJECT that idea! I believe that "women's intuition" is simply the fact that they spend more time with their children. I think that society keeps fathers from being fully involved with their children and when they are involved its seen as abnormal. When a child cries how many fathers have heard "Where's Mommy?" I think once this happens its too easy for the father to just turn the kid over to the Mom. My objective here is to create a safe place for men to share stories, successes, frusturations and advise with other men/fathers and work to create a society where those that want to be fully involved have a place to go to get more advise much like this forum does for BMW enthusiasts! So from crying all night, to car seats, to marriage, relationsips and finances it's all open for discussion. Come join us at: http://s8.invisionfree.com/New_Dads/ This is my first forum, so PLEASE tell me what you think! http://s8.invisionfree.com/New_Dads/ Bartman! |

Thanks. Please feel free to post now though! Really the preperation, and introspection you go through during pregnancy is part of being a Dad. I'm not trying to get into a right to life discussion but really once you decide you are having a baby, you start to think and act like a Dad. So feel free to post what you are up to now!
Thanks! |
