Dating - Good/Bad Experiences

So, I just left the gym about 10 minutes ago. On the way out, in the parking lot, I passed this very hot Latin lady. I mean, women don’t come any sexier or prettier than this lady. I’d say, she’s early 40s, about as tall as I am at 5’ 10”. To me, that seems tall for a woman. She has long, straight black hair. She’s very athletic, just how I like. A nice set of fakies in her short top, thin waist, slight bubble butt in her boy shorts and very tan, long legs. She has a lot of colorful tats though. And, tats don’t really turn me on. I haven’t noticed what her tats are. I’ve seen her a few times, upstairs in the weight room. We’ve passed each other twice and both times we made eye contact. Anyway, when I passed her in the parking lot tonight we made eye contact, briefly. She smiled and said, “hi”. It took me so much by surprise, that I couldn’t get any words out and I just kept walking. I felt my face get flushed and hot. I’m not sure why. But, next time I see her, I’m just going to say, “hi” and just say something like, “I’m sorry I didn’t say hi back to you the other night. You just caught me by surprise”. I’ll let you guys/ladies know what happens next.

Also a few updates:
- we texted back and forth yesterday. i appreciate the closure but we both made it very clear that it is over over

- i did make a hinge account over the weekend but deleted it monday morning, i realized this was only going to give me fomo at the moment. also it wouldn't be fair to go on a date with someone only for me to be like "haha yea my ex used to do that too". i'm not 100% moved on, need a week or so i think

- went out with friends last saturday, the bar we went out wasn't that great i guess, just didnt feel like meeting anyone. met one of the girls who work in the yoga studio in my building today though, she seems very nice

Anytime I read your posts I'm constantly reminded of how young you are and I always leave impressed about how mature you are.

It's not my fault that my life has been sub par. I was born into a very poor immigrant family that moved to the U.S. when I was only months old. I recall eating off of a dirt floor as a child. Good stuff man. The last part is where the gold is at. Hinge and all that shit isn't terrible, although you will meet some unique people (ha), but just put the ex stuff behind you and focus on the road forward. Sure some will do things your ex did, but don't need to mention it.


Got a call from my buddy yesterday, he's hosting their annual monkey fest in April. Girl that started in our 3D printing really wants to go so she got the golden ticket this year. It's a pretty wild experience, people from around the US just come hang out with monkeys. Monkeys by the pool, "vendor" tents selling monkey outfits and shit. Saw two monkeys fight and I got bit by a fucking capuchin (sp?). It's fucking wild and hilarious.
