RIP Dean Vinales
Dean Vinales passed away yesterday after an accident in the 300 CC support race for the WSBK round at Jerez.
https://www.motogp.com/en/news/2021/...es-away/395379 For anyone who has ever ridden a fast motorcycle around a racetrack you know how brave this guys are! Dean was the cousin of MotoGP rider Maverick and was only 15. Vale! |

Yes it's very sad. I would also say the riders are enormously talented. If you follow the sport you probably know it but Mat Oxley writes a great column for Motor Sport magazine. He had an interesting article recently about crashes after Marquez crashed at Silverstone https://www.motorsportmagazine.com/a...46-years-apart . He also talked to Mick Doohan and Kevin Schwantz https://www.motorsportmagazine.com/a...de-mick-doohan
