WRC Poland recce accident

Interesting bit of news with Seb Ogier and co driver released from hospital together with the other parties after a moderate collision between their Yaris and a private Ford combi on a public road as they were doing a recce for the rally.
What is strange is that the damage from images shown is on the right hand side corners of both cars involved and in Poland you drive on the right hand side of the road so insurance people will want to know why.

Here's another image of their Yaris GR within the report where co-driver Landais was taken to hospital taking the full impact on his side and there doesn't appear to be a passenger airbag deployment if it was fitted with one.

someone was on the wrong side of the road so the other had nowhere to go but to the other side
