Andrew Luck

Best Rookie QB this year?

Best Rookie QB of all time?

Future GOAT?

Discuss...

(maybe I'm a little excited after 5-3 start)

I think RG3 is a more exciting player to watch, but if Luck maintains a winning record and possibly gets the Colts into the playoffs, he's probably a shoe-in for Rookie of the Year.

I won't deny - RGIII is fun to watch.

Realistically, it's too early. We will know more in a couple of years (see Mark Sanchez)

Palmer, Leinart, Sanchez. The Chiefs should think twice about Barkley.

As a Houstonian, I really like Andrew Luck (hometown guy)...as a Houston Texans fan, he scares the crap out of me.

Awesome athlete that is going to go very far in this league for a long long time!

Indianapolis could have had their cake and ate it too if they would have kept Peyton for a few more season's and had Luck as their backup. Could have won a superbowl and then turned it over to him. Anywho, Luck is the real deal.

He is also the guy that DESTROYED the Colts today if you are still keeping score.

I'm glad Barkley hung around for one more year: UCLA was able to get major payback yesterday for last year's drubbing.

And let's keep the Kiffin's around because they are so wonderful. Not to mention the tide will turn and UCLA will be back.

I think he was referencing Brady's first season as a starter, in which the Patriots won Super Bowl 36 and Brady was the Super Bowl MVP. Unfortunately, that wasn't his rookie year, but still impressive.

Luck is a good quarterback, but you'll have to wait and see how he handles his first major injury and if he maintains his level of play after it or simply becomes afraid of getting hit (Carson Palmer?)

And the Patriots crushed the Colts today...Go Pats!

i don't watch that much nfl, but...

best qb ever?
favre
jm
young
aaron rodgers?

and goat...
oj
rice
that kicker with 1/2 a foot

quarterbacks get a biased amount of attention. in basketball, mj is considered the goat by many. but if you leave out highlights and focus on stats, there are several who match or beat him (russell, kareem, wilt etc)
