Not with a series 70. Those will appreciate. My buddy has one that is unfired. Told him not to shoot it so he went out and bought another one that was previously fired. Lol

I never cared for the way Springfields felt in my hand. The S&W is a nice gun. I wanted one before I purchased the Glock. I highly recommend a Glock. Damn thing runs no matter what you throw at it.

Speaking of Glocks, 1MOREMOD I was looking at two Glock 19s today. Both Gen 4. One was stamped "Made in USA" and the other was stamped "Made in Austria". Did they move production over to the US?

Sitting behind these two at a red light and hours later I'm still massively disappointed that these two pussies didn't race... Could've / should've been at least semi entertaining... Instead, they drove under the speed limit... *sigh

That's probably one of the most aurally pleasing car combo.

I have an MP 9mm and it's my all around carry. It's small and easily concealable, feels good to shoot, never had any chambering issues or misloads, the gun itself wasn't expensive and shoots just as well as the rest.

Don't really get the whole no0b part though. All guns serve their own individual purpose, a lack of experience makes one a no0b, not due to their armory or choice.

Since MC Sports filed bankrupty, they're liquidating all their inventory. I think you Cleveland guys have a few nearby. Last I saw guns/ammo were 15% off.

There are certain features they recommend for novice shooters vs experienced. Things like safety, usability, etc. I've been reading up on it. I don't think I can carry a concealed weapon here. It would just be for the range as a hobby. My new guy is a cop but I don't think he takes me very seriously so he's not really giving me any guidance on this.

Because all these pickup driving gangsters have them, why shouldn't I? Lol. Also, I need a new hobby. I'm a very bored person.

Never heard of them, but definitely will check it out, could always use some ammunition. Think gonna hold off on gun purchases for a while.

It's all about comfort and feel. Most all guns you can opt for safety/non-safety based on your location, CA has most restrictions. I bought my MP without a safety, but it's offered with, as well as CA compliant variants.

Go to a range and rent some. Find what feels best, what works well for you might not work well for someone else.

Is yours the full size or the compact?

Compact Shield. I liked the full size, but the size of the Shield made me decide to go with that as my carry. I'd like to get a 1911 next, but I'm being patient since it's not a necessity.

Fin Feather Fur has an Independence 9mm 350 round pack for $79.99. They give a $10 instant rebate and a $10 mail in rebate. Comes out to like $9 per box. Not bad.

I'll 2nd the glock. Simple is best. Especially for a first or only gun. I have a 23 myself I like it. It'll be my carry when I get my permit.
