Cool chart, but those figures are way way off. Not the averages, but the ceilings. I know anesthesiologists who make 7 figures, and a lot of lawyers who are not "celebrity" lawyers or whatever, but private practice that make well into 7 figs. But cool chart nonetheless

7 figs for just doing anesthesia shots? or do they do other things too?

it's alot more than just shooting people up haha...their malpractice premiums are through the roof though, hence the high salaries

All forms of anesthesiology, expert witness work, and pediatric anesthesiologists can make a shitload depending on how good you are. Anesthesia is not 'just a shot' but one of the most dangerous aspects of medicine where if you are not near perfectly exact for each patient they will die.

They also make sure you're not allergic to the drug they use, and adjusting the dosage throughout surgery.

Yeah haha, for some reason people get confused as to whether they are even Doctors or not. I'm always like, "uh, the person responsible for bringing you almost near death, and then back again better to have gone to (*$%ing medical school, and was preferably really good at it too"

Don't believe me? go to almost any search engine and type in "Are anesthesiologists.." and it will fill in the word (or guess) "Doctors?" 9 times out of 10.

ER physicians making over 200k? Can someone confirm this? Doesn't seem correct to me for some reason. Primary care usually doesn't pay that much.

Radiologists should be up there too. They make over 400K, easy. Neurosurgery makes 500K if not well over 500K, if I am not mistaken.

Oh yeah, and anyone who says Anesthesiologists aren't real doctors are probably among the most uninformed and undereducated individuals on earth.

My parents next door neighbor is an ER physician. With his house, no fucking way he makes any less than $300.

Good neurosurgeons can make over a million a year.
